Bye, Bye, Bully!

About our program:

Bullying in schools is becoming increasingly widespread.  With advancing
technology, there are now more ways in which children can be victimized by
others.  Elementary school should absolutely not be a place that kids fear, but
rather a safe haven where they are able to reach their full potential and prepare
for the next step in their education.  It is our aim to spread awareness and
provide the tools necessary to eliminate bullying in Pittsburgh, one school at a
time.

Here is an outline of our visit to your school:

3 minutes – Energetic, interactive introduction during which kids learn the “Anti-
Bullying Chant”, (Stand Tall, Steer Clear, Seek Help!)

12 minutes- Puppet production that illustrates the reasons why bullies do the
things they do, the impact bullying has on the victims, and what can happen to
bullies if they don’t change their ways.  (Ebesneezer, the bully, is visited by 3
comical members of the Anti-Bully Ninja Task Force who encourage him to
make a positive change.)

15 minutes- Group discussion where children are invited to answer thought
provoking questions about bullying.
